Tiveria

A nice and abandoned house I spotted on a recent trip to Tiveria [can you see the cables and antennae I airbrushed out?]

Batya's Studio

My neighbour Batya has built an inviting three-wheel pottery studio in an old water-cistern under her courtyard. Note solid-looking wedging-table on left, and my old [ancient] Shimpo wheel next to it.

Finds

A small sample of what you find when you dig a hole in the road in this part of the world.

More Excavations

Digging up Rehov Arlozorov [I think] in preparation [we suspect] for the imminent arrival of the Messiah. Inevitably, they'll have to dig it up again in a few years when Israeli Natural Gas comes on line.

From the Depths

At a recent event in the depths of Livnot uLehibanot's seemingly-endless excavations- various ethnically-garbed locals baking and story-telling for the benefit of a group of itinerant government officials, with me on the wheel [but out of the picture] practicing throwing as performance art.
