Back to the Bow
It's been a while since I shot- someone liberated my target from a field in Amirei HaGalil, and it took a while to find a replacement [including a spell shooting with the good folk at Betlehem HaGlilit]. I've been practicing archery since the age of 14,with quite a few lengthy pauses over the years,so it doesn't bother me when I stop for a while- but it's good to get back into the routine.
I Remember I Remember...
...the house where I was born [Thomas Hood- a poem lots of us learned by heart at school]; this isn't it,but it's the house my parents had built in Welwyn Garden City, some 40 km. north of London. We moved there when I was 2, and lived there until I went to university [Sussex] in 1969,when my parents sold it and bought a hurva[ruined property] in Hampstead. Thank you Google Maps for this wave of nostalgia.
