That's the name of the first rains,which arrived promptly the day after we started praying for rain,on Shmini Atzeret at the end of Succot.Supposedly the rain then stops for a couple of months [to give you the chance to fix the leaks that have appeared],starting again,we hope,after our Symposium at Tel Hai [Chanukah- this year's guest: Robin Hopper!]
