Helen and I visited Yahel [who now has her very own apprentice] after her recent successful gas firing- lots of promising pots and dramatic sunset colours reflected on a plastic window over the way from her studio.

Batya's Studio

My neighbour Batya has built an inviting three-wheel pottery studio in an old water-cistern under her courtyard. Note solid-looking wedging-table on left,and my old [ancient] Shimpo wheel next to it.
